PRIVACY NOTICE

King & Pauper uses local browser storage for bag contents and first-party analytics for site performance, product engagement, checkout funnel measurement and coarse geographic reporting. Secure payment details are handled by Stripe and live carrier-rate requests by Shippo. Analytics must not collect card numbers, CVCs, passwords, authentication codes or other payment credentials.

ANALYTICS

King & Pauper uses first-party analytics to understand visits, product engagement, cart and checkout activity, coarse country/state/city information, device class, campaign attribution and verified purchases. We do not use full card details, passwords, authentication codes or precise GPS location for analytics. Raw IP addresses are not stored as durable analytics identifiers.

For eligible visitors, an anonymous first-party kp_vid cookie may be used to measure returning visits and retention. It is HttpOnly, Secure and contains no name or email. In regions where consent is required, persistent analytics identification is withheld until consent. Global Privacy Control is respected by disabling persistent visitor identification and third-party analytics tags.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for privacy-focused traffic and performance measurement. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics may be enabled only with production project IDs and the consent controls described above.

RETENTION & DELETION

Persistent anonymous visitor linkage is removed after 90 days. Raw first-party analytics events are retained for no more than 400 days, after which they are deleted. Aggregated business metrics may be retained longer when they no longer identify an individual browser. A visitor can request deletion of analytics associated with the current anonymous visitor cookie by contacting kingandpauper@gmail.com; the site also supports same-browser deletion through its privacy endpoint.

PAYMENTS & SHIPPING

Payment details are handled by Stripe-hosted checkout. Live shipping-rate requests are handled through Shippo. King & Pauper does not store full card numbers or CVCs on the storefront.
